Grafa Tools

Travis of Grafa made his first copper gardening tool in 2011. A passionate gardener, he was inspired by the work of the Austrian naturalist movement, which utilised copper tools due to the benefits for soils in agriculture. Since then his crafted range of artisan digging tools has evolved to incorporate timber-handled designs and other unique variations.

Grafa garden tools are handmade locally in Melbourne’s inner west, using locally sourced copper, bronze and hardwood timber materials. Much of the copper is upcycled, specifically designed with organic and biodynamic gardening principles in mind as copper does not rust and its properties are found to promote growth and nutrient uptake. Grafa’s tools are created with consideration for you, your garden and sustainable design.
