The new tactile and textural living designs are designed to enrich the lives of those who come into contact with the pieces through colour and comfort.

The colour palette has been gathered from distant corners of the world, from our recent safaris and deserts travels of Africa yet grounded by a constant reference to home, the Australian natural landscape.

large palm springs planters

Deep reds, dusty greens and earthy tones of the secret gardens of Marrakesh and the Atlas Mountains breathe new life into the popular Palm Springs planter, available now in Turmeric, Merlot and Green.

First released as part of the brand’s 2016 collection Cinnamon, the planters reflect the parallels between the functional mid-century modern shapes of Palm Springs, California and Lightly’s view of timeless design and utilitarian beauty. Le Jardin expands on the well-loved Palm Springs collection with a new large and extra large format planter. “Ideal for indoor our outdoor use.”

Our collections have always been derived from travel – from the time spent resting and recharging – and importantly refuelling the sense of wonder and exploration that drives Lightly forward.

Colour is a key element of the sanctuaries we create for ourselves. Colour has the power to transport us, comfort us and to invigorate us – and the colours in our latest collection Le Jardin are no different.

The colour palette for the latest collection has been has been researched and gathered from distant corners of the world, from the safaris and sunken daybeds of North Africa to desert travels in India. Shop clayrusty reds from the Atlas mountains and terracotta clay earth ware.

Swedish for “three centuries”, Tre Sekel proves that great design and quality craftsmanship can readily transcend time and place.

With a considered and sustainable production process, Tre Sekel crafts furniture from three proud centuries of Swedish furniture in the historic City Möbler factory in Tibro, Västergötland.

All of Tre Sekel’s pieces are crafted in Sweden, by a close-knit team of designers, local factories and sawmills who tirelessly craft the highest quality furniture from carefully handpicked local timber.

Their considered process runs parallel with Lightly’s own reliance on enduring relationships, small-batch and artisanal production.

The new collection is a sensory study of colour and form, with a palette that references Le Jardin secrets of Marrakesh; an oasis of peace and quiet within high walls, where plants and trees from five continents grow together as an earthly reflection of paradise. These tranquil secret gardens and riads gave the collection a palette described by Davies as “an intrepid journey of colour that indulges fanciful musings of warmth and desire.”

With a life-giving water feature at each gardens’ centre, these oases brought Lightly’s ongoing focus on wellbeing to the collection.

Bring depth and adventure to your indoor or outdoor plant styling this spring with Lightly’s ever-expanding range of vessels and planters.

The brand’s well-loved planters and vessels have been reinvigorated in the bold and intrepid colour palette of the latest collection, Le Jardin, while brand new pieces like hanging planters  have been added to the range.

Our love of resourcefulness and respect for Australian wool lead us to the oldest weaving mill in Australia, which retains all of its production offcuts for future use. Using these offcuts to make blankets, we incorporated a closed loop system that uses the blankets for re-manufacture at the end of their life.

The blankets are 70% recycled Australian merino wool and a 30% blend of polyester and recycled alpaca, mohair and cotton – cosy enough for indoors and durable enough for outdoors. Also the best YIN yoga friend.

For every ten blankets sold, Seljak Brand donates one to the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre in Victoria. Our grandparents were refugees from Slovenia and we want to support asylum seekers making a new home in Australia. Shop the collection.
